The use of the 25,25 meter long  EcoCombi trucks reduces the amount of trucks on the road by one third. This means every three trailer loads can be transported with only two 25,25 meter trucks. This solution realizes a reduction of emissions by 25% while transporting the same amount of cargo. The challenge is to keep these vehicles below the German weight limit and therefore the combinations are extreme lightweight. With the latest technologies we succeeded in reducing the weight of these combinations without compromising on safety and cargo care. These eco combi’s are also equipped with the electric Frigoblock cooling system that runs on electrical power, generated by the Euro 6 engine of the truck. This total package makes these trucks light and very eco-friendly in comparison with regular trucks and can legally be equipped on the Germany road.. Currently, we equip two light weight  EcoCombi trucks under the J.P. Vis & Zn. brand and more similar configured trucks will be equipped under the brand of Hartman Expeditie in the near future.
